Tom's upcoming workshops in Fair Oaks, CA, at the beautiful studio of Bobbi Baldwin are attracting a lot of interest from artists Tom recently met in Monterey CA but there is still space available for you! This is due largely to the fact that we have not yet posted the details on our website or announced them nationally.
This final reminder before we open it up to everyone is to allow you the opportunity to take part if you would like to. Tom always enjoys meeting new students and finding out how they are doing and helping them take the next step!
These are the details: The COLOR Workshop will run from Friday, January 6 thru Sunday, January 8, 2012, and the PORTRAIT Workshop will run from Monday, January 9 through Wed January 11, 2012.
The cost is $395 for the COLOR class, and
$495 for the PORTRAIT class.
This price has not changed in the past two
years. Many of you painted in both classes in the past. Although
the total cost of both classes is $890. for those who wish to
enroll in both and pay in full you will receive a discounted
price of just $840. (a savings of $50).
We also can offer a no interest payment
method of six equal payments from your credit card monthly
beginning Oct 1, 2011 thru March 1, 2012, which goes past the
dates of the workshop. Using your Visa or Master-card.(that is
less than $150.00 per each payment for both workshops!). We
recognize that the economy affects everyone and we are doing
what we can to accommodate all of Tom's students and make it
possible for anyone who wants to to have the opportunity to
study with him.

NEWS:
Ten of Tom's portraits were seen in the recent (silly) movie "The Change-Up". They lined the walls of the law office of the character played by Jason Bateman, but you had to look quickly as they were only used as background. The movie opened the final night of Tom's Atlanta workshop and we went as a group to see it.
The National Portrait Conference (PSOAmerica), was held in Atlanta last April. Tom was once again on the faculty and demonstrated a portrait "painted from memory". It was one of the most well received demonstrations of the conference. Over hundreds of artists watched him paint and lecture on the main stage and were all floored, it was quite something to see! He will explain fully how he did this, in the upcoming Portrait workshop.
