"The Artist's Way and Beyond: The 12
Truths of Creativity." One day workshop
All artists, including "artists" of business, science, teaching, therapy, and
interpersonal relationships, share certain traits and approaches to life. In
this workshop, we'll explore the artist inside each of us through individual and
group exercises in writing, music, and rhythm, and the creation of "living
sculptures."
In the process, we'll explore some core attributes artists have in common: the
habit of daily reflective practice, the ability to reframe failures, and a way
to identify and leverage personal strengths and talents. You'll learn how to
dismantle emotional blocks to creativity, including conflicts involving personal
relationships, preconceived notions about success, concerns about money, and
doubts about your own abilities. By the end of the day, you'll be ready to draw
out your inner artist for a heightened sense of authenticity, adventure, and
creative power in your everyday life.
